Bring your old books

Coming from another system? Hand in its export and Octobooks brings your old books in.

Octobooks reads exports of DATEV, Xero, QuickBooks, sevDesk, Lexware Office, FreeAgent and Sage. For DATEV: the Buchungsstapel with Debitoren, Kreditoren and Kontenbeschriftungen.

1. Open Getting started and press Bring my old books.
2. Hand in the export files as your old system gave them.
3. Octobooks shows what it found: the source, accounts, customers and suppliers, trial balances, bookings and open items.
4. Choose what to bring in: the balances on the cutover day, the balances and every booking before them, every booking, or only the chart and the contacts.
5. Check the cutover day and press Bring it in.
6. Octobooks compares its trial balance with the one in your files, account by account.

Your AI can hand in the export in the chat too. You press Bring it in. Wrong files? Press Start over.
