Connect Claude

Your own Claude works in your books through the Octobooks connector.

1. In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, and choose Add custom connector.
2. Enter the address https://mcp.octobooks.ai.
3. Claude opens the Octobooks sign in. Sign in as yourself, with your passkey or Google and your second step.
4. Tick what this connection may do: Read the books, Propose, Hand in documents. Press Allow.
5. Back in Claude, say: "Read the Octobooks guide and tell me what my books are waiting for."

The connector has 59 tools. Your AI may do everything in the books that your switches on the page Control allow. Text written by banks, suppliers and customers reaches Claude marked as data, never as an instruction.

End a connection any time on the page Connections. Its access stops at once.
