Octobooks Cookie Notice
Last updated: 9 October 2026.
The Octobooks app uses only the cookies it needs to work. The website octobooks.ai sets none. No analytics, no advertising, no tracking across sites. That is why there is no cookie banner.
| Cookie | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|
| Session cookie | Keeps you logged in to the app | Ends after 15 minutes without activity, or when you log out |
| Sign in cookie | Carries a sign in from an invite or login link | Until that sign in expires |
| Choice (local storage, website) | Remembers the language and currency you picked | Until you clear it |
These are strictly necessary, so the law (UK PECR, EU ePrivacy rules, German TDDDG) does not require consent for them. If we ever add analytics, we will ask first and update this page.
